Professional statement

Dr Andrew Tan (陈清俊医生) is a GP who graduated from University of New South Wales (MBBS Hons 1) in 1986. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a Member of the Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia (MAFPM), and a Member of the Academy Occupational and Environmental Medicine Malaysia (MAOEMM). He obtained his Master of Science (Occupational Medicine) from the National University of Singapore and completed his Graduate Certificate in Medical Acupuncture from Monash University. He had previously worked in Occupational and Public Health in Malaysia.

Apart from English, he can converse in basic Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien(福建), Hakka(客家) and Malay/Indonesian. Andrew has a special interest in preventative medicine. He practices at Castle Towers Medical Practice, Castle Towers Shopping Centre, Castle Hill (Tuesday, Thursday) and Hornsby Medical Centre, Westfield Hornsby (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday).
